Procedure to Assemble a Zolar Laser for Proper Use

Following steps should be followed in order to assemble the Zolar Soft Tissue Diode Lasers, Photon or Photon Plus and make them ready for use:

1. Install wireless foot pedal or wired foot pedal.
2. Install remote interlock.
3. Install Fiber Spool.
4. Assemble the handpiece and tip and then connect the handpiece assembly to the unit. Wind the fiber on the spool and put the handpiece into the handpiece holder. 
5. Verify that Emergency Stop button is depressed.
6. Turn on power.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Always test the laser fire outside the mouth before using it on the patient. The doctor, patient and any other staff in the operatory must wear the appropriate safety eye wear whenever the laser is being operated.
